Burgerfuel Lands On The Gold Coast

BurgerFuel have announced their entry into another major Australian city this week, with the opening of their first Gold Coast restaurant, in Mermaid Beach. The opening closely follows the company’s recent move into Brisbane.

Located close to popular Gold Coast attractions like Broadbeach and Jupiters Casino, Mermaid Beach is a beachside suburb located on the busy Gold Coast Highway. The new restaurant, BurgerFuel Mermaid Waters, boasts extremely high visibility as the main attraction in a small retail strip, with very prominent signage, ample parking and a large outdoor seating area.

General Manager of BurgerFuel Australasia, Craig Notman, comments, “The Gold Coast has a fantastic tourism industry and we’re excited to make our gourmet burgers available to this market as well as to locals in the area. There’s also a strong Kiwi contingent residing in the Gold Coast who have campaigned for many years to bring BurgerFuel to here so it’s great to finally be here in such a key location”.

The store is the second to come to fruition through BurgerFuel’s Subway® connection, after a deal was signed with Franchise Brands LLC (a company associated with Subway®) and has been opened with Australian franchisees Sam Paterson and Nic Paterson.
